An Interesting Week

I enjoyed a visit to Saffron Walden with a couple of friends, Libby and Gill. Haven’t seen Gill for simply ages so lots of catching up was done over coffee and cake. Hoping to go back with Ellen, my daughter, to visit the Fry Gallery, where there is a very interesting exhibition of Edward Bawden’s work.

Really missed going to pottery this week, yet another road closure creating a massive diversion. When are they going to stop closing roads?  Hopefully when I return in a couple of weeks I will complete my head sculpture. I have found it to be a real challenge and to get the hair to look right will be the ultimate hurdle!  Just to give you an idea, this is where I’m up to.

My focus now needs to be on the RawEdge exhibition work.  I am nearly finished so will soon be concentrating on sales items.

In all of this I am regularly checking on my elderly mum making sure that she is happy in the care home.  So far, so good!!
